This bill is just a pig dressed up in sheeps clothing. We being the sheep, and they are fleecing us. Most Americans have no money invested in hedge funds and speculations. That is where guys like Buffet, Trump, Gates, Forbes and most of congress put their money to make millions on the market. They took the risk, and now what a bailout to cover their vsses. The taxpayers cover their losses, the market rebounds and they make another billion at the taxpayers expense.Is there enough lipstick in the world to dress up this bailout bill to make it popular?
If America had prudential regulation then it wouldn't be in this situation.


NINJJA (No Income, No Job, Junk Assets) loans are largely to blame.


This ';bailout bill'; has no guarantee that mortgage lenders will clean up their act in the future. The US Government needs to take equity in these businesses for that to happen, but they wont secure enough equity.


This bailout could prove to be a very expensive mistake if regulation is not stepped up...pronto.

no. and it is my opinion that, as we change presidents this year, we should also change our house reps and senators if they voted for this bill.

It's going to pass. The one that passed in the senate is the same one that failed in congress with billions of pork in it. Despite 2/3 of america against this baliout, our politicians are going to pass it. VOTE THEM OUT!
