Where can I find make up for my skin tone? I'm having problems finding lipstick colors among other products?

I am African American with a semi-dark/milk chocolate skin tone.Where can I find make up for my skin tone? I'm having problems finding lipstick colors among other products?
Have you tried useing Fashion Fair. It's for women of color. I use it a lot and it's really good. You can find it out your mall at Dillards. Covergirl has good brands of lipstick for women of color as well.Where can I find make up for my skin tone? I'm having problems finding lipstick colors among other products?
Just use tinted lipgloss!
Any make up counter, at Macy's.
try Loreal. So many colours to choose from!
Try on the make-up that makes you feel beautiful! You don't need us to answer that question when you'll find out for yourself!
The new L'Oreal products have a complete skin matching system to make sure you get the perfect shade. It's called True Match and it has a whole line of powders, foundations and lipstic matches for you. Just go to your nearest drug store or walmart and use their color guide. Hope this helps!
i dont know about lipstick because i onlt wear gloss.but for skin,i use sheer cover.its perfect because you blend two similar colors together until you get the perfect shade and it doesnt even feel like you have on makeup at all.its actually kinda fun to apply.im like a almond color but i get darker in the summer and my skin is sensitive so i know what you mean
Try going to a place called a make up store in your nearest city or town whatever and ask them to show you professionally. They will help you as long as your nice to them.
Look online for products for dark complection. Google it! If you need extra help, go to the mall and have a person at the makeup counter give you a makeover. They're free (but they'll try to sell you their stuff) and they'll explain everything they do.
well for african americn skintone the line BOOBI BROWN is perfect. or loreal, if the makeup line has african american mdels that look good then thats the line you gte your makeup from. but for a lip shade a scarlett pink or a sheer corel or violet would look sexy.
Go to a professional makeup artist.
Go to a make up counter at a department store and they can give you some direction. Also try going to http://www.lorealparisusa.com/hip/hip.html. L'Oreal has a new line of 'High Intensity Pigments' or 'HIP'...they a have great, rich, dark and well...intense color pallet. Love it!
go to the covergirl.com website and get colormatched. it works really well. i know from experience
YOU COULD GO TO A LORD AND TAYLOR OR MAC THEY WILL SO HELP YOU GRLL!
if u go to a super tore or super center that has a make up counter, you will probally find the right shades for you make sure you have good lighting though and ask the person at the desk if she is trained in the feild of make up artistry. to try make up n these centers are FREE, if u have to buy before u try find another store. what has helped me the most is my Avon rep. i also have a dark skin tone. when u buy from a Avon rep. she gives u a peronalised service, and helps to choose the right make up products for you also satisfaction is guaranteed if you don't like it or the shade was not right. i'm also a rep and f you would like u can easily email me or add me to ur messenger list wildboo1 is my yahoo account, and i can suggest some make up shades for u.
Go to the Clinique counter at macys or Dillards. They always have an awesome collection of colors and their makeup is very good for your skin.
i would say that using tinted medium lip gloss would do the trick. MAC and Artistry are really good make-up co. and they have like every lipstick and lipgloss color imaginable. hope this helps!
